Nerve Agent Triage - “Immediate”

TRIAGE OF NERVE AGENT CASUALTIES

Unconscious or convulsing casualties, or those with major disorders of two or more body systems are triaged as immediate.  Immediate treatment should include antidote administration and positive pressure ventilation to preserve their airways.  Rapid intervention will result in an improved outcome.
